The A series freestyle is based around the classic mini all components can be sourced from a single donor vehicle
1959 - 2000, from Austin to Rover some 41 years in production . Where would the world have been without the Classic Mini.

Designed on a table cloth in the late 50's in a restaurant by Sir Alec Issigonis to combat the Suez fuel crisis.
The Mini became a legend in its own lifetime. Copied by every single other car maker - how many cars today have the same east-west engine configuration ? A tremendous success in International Rallying in the 60's, including 3 Monte Carlo outright wins.
Well over 5 million have been built and sold. Voted on numerous occasions as the number 1 car of the 20th century. The Mini still has a massive worldwide following

The chassis is a fully welded, pre-drilled, steel chassis with plasma cut bulkheads and pedal box area with integral roll cage and inboard suspension. The Mini’s complete front subframe housing the suspension, brakes, engine and gearbox in one unit bolts onto the rear of the Freestyle chassis with modifications carried out to allow operation of a handbrake. For on road use, either Mini or Metro disks are recommended for use on the front. |
With the completed kit weighing only 460 kilos and the SVA built cars weighing over 520 kilo’s, fitting of a 1275cc Mini engine can give a power to weight ratio greater than most hot hatches on the road. |

We require a steering column inner and a pair of top suspension arms on an exchange basis. Please supply exchange parts in a clean condition (surcharge payable).
You will need one complete Mini donor as well as an additional set of front hubs, top arms (to exchange with us) and tie bars. |

If it is not practical to have a donor car for any reason then all parts are new and reclaimed can be obtained at very reasonable prices through ourselves.
Even though the kit is easy to build, not everyone wants or is able to build the cars for various reasons. This doesn't have to be a problem; if necessary we can arrange to have it built for you. Contact us for more information and costs. |
